Using Microsoft Surface as a second display / PC extension?

Hi everyone,

I currently only have one monitor on my PC and would like to additionally use my Microsoft Surface to have, for example, additional windows or views of SIM Dispatcher open there.

So my question is: Is it possible to use the Surface as a second monitor or extension of the PC and work with the same account at the same time?

I seem to recall that there were apps that allowed you to use a smartphone or tablet as an additional monitor for a PC, for example. Maybe there’s also a way to implement this with a Surface and SIM Dispatcher?

Has anyone already had experience with this or knows whether and how it works?

Thank you very much and best regards!

With the program “SpaceDesk” you can use other laptops or tablets as additional monitors. It’s important that the devices are on the same WiFi network.

I’ve been using it myself for several years and I set it up so that, especially for my setup, I have up to 7 monitors (3 physical and 4 virtual with SpaceDesk)

I can recommend using the Surface as a computer and connecting additional displays with a docking station. That works wonderfully with my Surface Pro 8 and 2 external monitors.

Hey,

the Surface is touch-capable as far as I know, right?

Then you can log into the session with the same account via browser and select the desired level at the top.

For example, I have the radio/phone on the iPad.

Thank you so much for your answers, I’ll give those suggestions a try!
