Hi!
I started playing around with the V4 preview, after having spent some time on the V3. I really like what you are doing with the V4, but there are a couple of things bothering me. I didn’t see them adressed on the forum yet, so I’m making this topic. I’ll be comparing most of my issues with how it’s done in the V3, however I really want to stress out the fact that I like the V4 and what you’re doing with it.
- Having 2 sepereate fields for the address search feels redundant and V3 made it simpler by grouping the objects and the address search in one single field. The search algorithm is however much better in the V4.
- French dialog: The callers I’ve encountered weren’t telling me the city they were in when asked their location, only the street. I could make it out from the location extracted from the caller info/number, but I find it frustrating to not have the caller tell me his exact location.
- I couldn’t see what number the callers where calling, if it was the emergency line, the transport line or the office line.
- French dialog again: Some parts of the conversations, both phone and radio, aren’t completely translated yet, and some german parts slip through sometimes.
- I’ve tried to have the Einsätze automatically created when answering a call, but I doesn’t seem to work for me. Has this been implemented yet?
- The caller number also doens’t get put in the Einsatz.
- I find it very frustrating to have to select the search boxes and then select the entry I want. With the V3, I could type the address for example, use the arrow keys to highlight the correct one, then press TAB to go to the house number field, and it would select the highlighted address. Then after giving the house number, TAB again to go to the Stichwort, and start typing, TAB again to go to the Freritext field. In the V4, I have to highlight the address, prerss ENTER to validate, and when I go to the Stichwort field, press ENTER to start typing, find the correct oone, then ENTER again. I have many times just pressed TAB after highlighting what I wanted only for it to be cleared because I didn’t press ENTER.
- Is it a choice not to have the automatic suggestion of units when typing a Stichwort? Do we now have to press on the button to get the suggestion?
And one issue I have already seen somewhere on the forum, I think it’s better to have the phone and radio in two separate windows.
