Any plans for Czechs?

Hello devs!

Im simply in love with this sim, really good. One of the best I’ve found! But I just wanna ask if you’re planning on introducing Czech into the game and also Czech language aswell. Theres I’d say a really big group of people which have interest in this genre. I can help with something. I was developing my own FiveM server and I can translate or whatever.

We are solid group of police officers just trying to chill with game like this. (Moving on from GTAV dispatching. )

P.S.: Also sorry if this is bad forum thread. .) Cheers

Hi! Glad to hear that. The dialogues are currently only available in the languages shown on the homepage. However, the languages are independent of the technical support. If SIM Dispatcher is to be supported in country XYZ, we only need address data, ideally for the entire country and not just for individual regions, so that cross-regional cooperation is possible.

Additionally, the system is still optimized for the German emergency services system. We are planning adaptations, but we can’t make any promises because our to-do list is quite full.

The new API theoretically allows usage together with FiveM. This opens the door for some potentially cool integrations in the future.

Howdy!

Thanks for you quick reply! That totally makes sense. I’d really love to help with bringing SIM Dispatcher to the Czech Republic — we have quite a big community here that enjoys realistic dispatch simulations.

For the address data, everything you mentioned is actually or should be publicly available. The Czech office for surveying and mapping (ČÚZK) provides open and structured datasets through the RÚIAN registry (Register of territorial identification, addresses and real estate):

It includes the full structure (country → region → municipality → street → house number) and could definitely be used as a national address base. If you’d like, I can prepare a sample dataset or help with converting it into your required format.

Also, just to clarify — I mentioned FiveM only because I previously developed my own server which was only meant to be like I have some deving experience there, not that I’d want an integration. That would be really a lot of work for you!

I’m mostly interested in helping with localization and data for the Czech environment.

Cheers, Hakin.

Thanks for the links to the databases. In principle, we could of course take over the data collection, but the problem is that we can’t validate it because we don’t know the region. It would be better if you could provide us with the data in a format that roughly matches our requirements. In the worst case, things could happen like us mixing up a municipality with a district, and then all the data would be wrong.

Manually translating the emergency scenarios is impossible. There are thousands of phrases and sentences. That can only be done mechanically using AI. How good is OpenAI for Czech? If the language support is good there, we can run it through the AI.

Okay, sounds good. I can try that, what data format do you need? Do you have example file? I can take some time and try to do it.

As for AI translations — OpenAI’s Czech language support is actually very strong now. The latest GPT models (like GPT-4o and GPT-5) handle Czech fluently and can translate technical or emergency-related phrases with very high accuracy, including realistic dispatch communication. (Atleast thats what AI said to me  )
