Summary / Zusammenfassung

Mapping issues in Jersey, Channel Islands.
Approximately 50% of calls don’t plot correctly with the street address (including after house number added). Vehicles frequently can’t find the emergency even when address inputted correctly. Plots outside of blue circle when taking call.
This is an issue that was present in other parts of the UK but seemed to be fixed, just not Jersey yet.

Use of the Jersey regions/admin level (St Helier, St Lawrence, Grouville, St Martin, St Mary, Trinity, St Brelade, St Saviour, St Ouen, St John)

Addresses plot correctly

Addresses plot incorrectly >50% of time

This likely happens because SIM Dispatcher does not know the actual house numbers. Currently, random numbers between 1 and XX are generated. If these do not exist and the search attempts to resolve them, this discrepancy occurs. In such cases, you can use “Change Coordinates” to select the most accurate location. Once selected, the simulated incident location will even be moved to those specific coordinates.

We are working on a solution for house numbers in the future. Does this help?

Hi Daniel,

Nothing seems to work to resolve this which is essentially making the channel islands unplayable. When selecting the address and accepting and transferring to operation, the issue persists.

The vehicle still will report „details dont match“ when state 4
