Steps to Reproduce / Schritte zur Reproduktion

    1. Go to an active mission requiring patient transport. / Gehe zu einem aktiven Einsatz, der einen Patiententransport erfordert.
    2. Click on an ambulance on-site that requests support (e.g., „Patient too heavy“ or „Additional staff required“). / Klicke auf einen Rettungswagen vor Ort, der Unterstützung anfordert (z. B. „Patient zu schwer“ oder „Personalunterstützung benötigt“).
    3. Dispatch a second ambulance or a support unit to the location. / Alarmiere einen zweiten Rettungswagen oder eine Unterstützungseinheit zum Einsatzort.
    4. Wait for the support unit to arrive (Status 4). / Warte, bis die Unterstützungseinheit eintrifft (Status 4).
    5. See error: The mission logic does not update; the patient remains unmovable despite the support unit being present. / Fehler sichtbar: Die Einsatzlogik aktualisiert sich non-stop; der Patient kann nicht transportiert werden, obwohl die Unterstützung vor Ort ist.

Basically the system wants me to only send the Fire Brigade for support, but if I can’t even call them because I haven’t inserted the units and I want them to be external, what do I do?

In the current state of Sim Dispatcher you need to add Fire Brigade units then.

In thed future it’s planned to be able to call other dispatch centers for supporting units.

you can call other dispatch centeres for support… you can request PD and FD if you create a fire station you can call it for assistance without having to actually dispatch a unit (if you set your center to not be a fire dispatch center)

Sometimes it does take time for them to answer and you need to be sure that you have the call you want them to respond to open when you call.

Ok, I put „Rettungsleitstelle“ as the dispatch center type but it doesn’t seem to work… It only works for the police.

In the General Tab you need to choose what kind of calls your dispatch center you got.

I tried again now, but it still doesn’t work. All fire departments have the „Fire Station“ category. Is this OK, or should I change it to „Fire Department“?

Change it to Fire Department and look if it works.

No, it still doesn’t work: I waited 3 minutes but they never responded.

Yes, exactly. I don’t understand why it doesn’t work.

I’m not certain why it isn’t working either because I’ve successfully did this multiple times. Although I’ve since added fire to my dispatch center so it may have changed since a system update.
