I couldn’t help but figure that the “French Database” project is not in the bugtracker anymore. Is this some kind of display bug ? Will the project to expand to france be delayed again ?
I’m kinda worried since i’ve been waiting for the developpement of France for more than 2 years now.
I can clearly see all the work that’s been done to update this game to version 4 and it’s truly amazing. I can only respect the communication that is made by the dev. But i’m just so frustrated to not be able to play in France.

It seems the public tracker item was removed due to an update in the collaboration software. I’ve created a new guest link to track the progress: click.
We are now preparing the switch from v3 to v4. As part of this, we’re setting up new GIS servers, which will provide the updated geodata for all the newly supported countries. I think it should be done in October.

Excited to see V4 has been released today. Just wanted to inquire if it’s correct that I cannot select any other ‘Address Package’ in the administration sector than “Deutschland, Österreich und Schweiz”? The main website seems to suggest the eight new countries should be available now as well, but in any case I don’t seem to be able to establish a Control Centre outside of the aforementioned three countries that existed in V3 as well.
Thanks for information regarding how to access the other databases, or when we can expect these to make their entry into V4. Thanks in advance.
Sadly, I have to say that the website only refers to the localization languages (e.g., caller texts, radio, etc.). We are still working on the address databases, which are a requirement for non-DACH dispatch centers.

Can you say anything about the timeline on the new countries being added? Maybe it could be posted in a separate post as it seems to be a reappearing topic for different countries.
Personally been waiting for the addition of the Netherlands from my purchase in March 2022 when it was already allegedly ‘close on the horizon’, based on a response to a forum post I got then just before my purchase. I think it would be nice with V4 having been rolled out now for other users and myself to have some idea of what we can expect in the (near?) future?
That’s true, that was a misjudgment of timing. I just wrote a post mentioning that the only missing requirement is the address data. So at the moment, we’re only working on stability. Which you’ll of course benefit from as well and on two missing features. After that, we won’t be working on anything else except the address data for all other countries. I Promise.
Yes, we could indeed use some support with the address data. We’ll release a technical specification describing how our system requires the address data. Currently, we plan to use data from OpenStreetMap, but they might not have the quality we need.
