XENBIT-Launcher unavailable?

When attempting to start the XENBIT Launcher, the following message appears:
Not Available for Use

This version was provided as part of a technical preview. It has not been updated for too long and has therefore been disabled. To continue using it, remove this version from your system and install the current version from the internet.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Go to ‘…’
  2. Click on ‘…’
  3. Scroll down to ‘…’
  4. See error

Expected Behavior

Launcher was uninstalled and downloaded again. After installation, a message appears indicating updates are available. However, the update does not seem to be performed.

Actual Behavior

Impact on Usage

Minor: Small / cosmetic impact.
Moderate: It disrupts some workflows.
Critical: I can’t use the platform at all.

Found this:

I don’t think that’s the error. SD hasn’t been working since before the maintenance work.

Same problem, status page says everything is “Working perfectly” but that’s clearly not actually the case.

Are the developers on vacation if there’s no response?

How long is it roughly going to take before we can finally play again?

The status page automatically displays server issues. The error message was generated by the desktop client. But you’re right that we could have manually added the notification.

An update is coming within the next hour.

Update 1.1.3 is available in the XENBIT Launcher and removes the error message. Please restart the Launcher to receive the update.
