Massive performance issues

Since the maintenance work to improve stability, the entire simulation has been massively affected by lags and performance issues.

  1. Radio problems (see Nicht mehr behoben: Lange Reaktionszeit nach Sprechaufforderung)
  2. Visual bugs:
    a) Patient is “taken over” into new call-out → Patient wird fälschlicherweise übernommen in neuen Einsatz aber auch nicht übernommen
    b) “Submit call-out data” of emergency vehicles is also displayed in the new call-out
    c) Phone calls are not ended
    d) “Submit call-out data” action takes very long
  3. Documentation is not saved or ends up in some other call-out
  4. Sometimes the call-out address/house number is not transferred. Only after re-selecting the call-out must the address/house number be entered again to be routed correctly
  5. Sometimes the call-out address is not transferred to the current call-out, but to some other one instead
  6. Starting simulation takes extremely long and often fails
  7. Deleting session also takes forever

Impact on Usage

Minor: Small / cosmetic impact.
Moderate: It disrupts some workflows.
Critical: I can’t use the platform at all.

Gameplay and enjoyment greatly diminished

Thank you for your feedback. We’re working on restoring a smooth ratio.

The changes are due to server relocations, as significant cost increases have occurred. We now need to find the right balance of required resources.

Alright, thanks for the feedback. I can definitely understand the cost reasons, it was just a bit unclear from a user perspective why performance got so bad after the maintenance work.

We’ve just launched larger resources. We’re eager to hear your feedback and hope that everything is now running smoothly again.

Markers, such as patient selection, we’ll take a closer look at separately.

In particular, the radio issues have disappeared again. Thank you very much for that. A few other minor issues such as long loading times when starting/deleting a session still persist

The problems continue to occur at the massive extent mentioned above. The simulation is currently not usable.

How exactly does that show itself?

The aforementioned radio problems with the significant delay are occurring again

Summary / Zusammenfassung

When I briefly leave a session and then reopen it and unpause the game, I suddenly get calls generated so quickly as if the game were running at 16x speed

Steps to Reproduce / Schritte zur Reproduktion

Open a lobby / Öffne eine Sitzung
Leave the lobby after some time / Verlasse die Lobby nach etwas Zeit
Go back into the lobby and resume the game / Gehe zurück in die Lobby und fahre die Zeit fort
A lot of calls and incidents are generated at once / Viel zu viele Einsätze und Anrufe werden zu gleich generiert

Expected Behavior / Erwartetes Verhalten

The game resumes as normal at 1x timescale / Das Spiel fährt normal auf 1x Geschwindigkeit fort

Actual Behavior / Tatsächliches Verhalten

The game generates calls as if it were at 16x timescale / Das Spiel generiert Einsätze als wäre es auf 16x

Impact on Usage / Auswirkung auf die Nutzung

Minor: Small / cosmetic impact. / Kleiner / kosmetischer Einfluss.
Moderate: It disrupts some workflows. / Beeinträchtigt einige Arbeitsabläufe.

How long have you been away from the session?

for about 10 minutes, maybe 15, but as far as I know it should trigger automatically once you’re removed from the dispatch center

I’m experiencing the same error where you get kicked out of the session in the pause function, then you have to completely exit and restart the session

Is it not possible to restaff the control center?

No, clicking Restore doesn’t work

Yes, because no operations control center is staffed. So the question is, is it not possible to select the operations control center again?

You can click on the deployment location again in the session window, but nothing happens

And what happens when you’ve selected the control station and then click Restore?

After clicking Restore, it counts down the seconds but nothing happens — no new connection is established. After that, it looks like this

If you exit the session and select it again via the session selection (list), does the same thing happen?

It works there, the session loads perfectly
